We have used R.A.F. on different occasions over the years to have our house decorated, including wallpaper work, a new wardrobe and engineered herringbone flooring installed. After inviting quotes from 3 other carpenters, I chose to offer the job to Raf to fit a combination of cabinets, shelves, drawers and worktop.

During selection process Raf came up with practical suggestions and illustrations to help me discover what I actually needed done.
His quote was quite simple - raw material and labour charges split into categories of work required - joining, lighting setup and tidy up. He built a comprehensive list of items required and was in touch regularly to discuss before the job. He was open for me to buy the supplies myself which demonstrates transparency and honesty. In the end I let Raf buy supplies for me and bring all of it to my home for storage to allow job to commence without delay. He successfully managed my expectations.
On the day of the job, Raf and Andrew arrived as agreed and started the job with total confidence that demonstrates their expertise in taking up such jobs. Raf was also happy to cover small unplanned additional jobs on the day. Raf and Andrews attention to detail was evident from the excellent finish quality of the fixtures and fittings. They thoroughly cleaned and touched up any marks after the job was finished. I couldnt be more lucky to have selected Raf for the job. I have a number of other jobs already lined up for him 😀.
